Upon purchasing their house in Cowaramup, Darren and Tania wanted to bring their house up-to-date, reduce their carbon footprint and lower their energy bills.
After installing new LED lighting, in conjunction with Paragon Plumbing we set about replacing their old hot water system with an iStore 270L Heat Pump. Australian backed, incredibly efficient and subsidised by the Australian Government.
Lighting and hot water taken care of, it was time to focus on balancing the climate across the house. We sourced an energy efficient Mitsubishi Heavy Industries unit that complemented the rest of their system.
Having dealt with the energy efficiency of their home, we focused on reducing overall energy consumption. The centre piece of the solution was a Redback Technologies Smart Hybrid battery (10.5kW) and inverter (5kW), and Jinko solar panels (10.6kW) backed by a 25-year warranty.
No job would be complete without some good ol' fashioned electrical work in the shed. Now Darren and Tania are realising their Low Carbon dreams, who knows what the future holds? Maybe a Zappi Electrical Charger for their car powered by the ☀️
